HIITSGIVING CHALLENGE DAY 7

We landed safely late last night, which is why you're not seeing this post until the afternoon! I hope you bounced right back into your healthy eating and workouts yesterday, but if you didn't, there's always another chance, whether it's at the next meal, or your next workout! Don't give up on yourself or your journey just because you had one bad meal, or skipped a workout. There's always a chance to correct your path at the next meal. The whole day isn't ruined because of one bad meal. Plus, with your HIITSGIVING HIITs there are always 7.5 minutes in your day to bang out a quick workout! You don't have to spend hours upon hours in the gym to get a good workout in. Even if it's just 7.5 minutes, pushing yourself to the max, you are bound to work up a sweat and feel great after! 

Below, I've created a killer LEG workout that'll be sure to make it hurt when you walk up the stairs tomorrow! Remember yet another thing you're thankful for before you complete it, and then follow the workout - 30 seconds each exercise move, then 30 second rest or plank hold after the entire HIIT is complete, and repeat the HIIT 3x total! Easy as that! 

Your legs are guaranteed to be shaking when you finish this HIIT 3x, but that's a good thing! That means your muscles are working in overtime. They're working FOR YOU! Isn't it incredible what our bodies are capable of when we push them past the limits we set for ourselves. It never ceases to amaze me, but I'm sure some people don't even think about that. I'm sure most people workout because they feel like they have to, to fit the mold, or they pick a workout they hate because it helps people lose weight and they want to too. Unfortunately it's not that easy. In order to be happier, it's not about losing the weight, it's about changing your mindset and finding out who you truly are on the inside. You can lose all the weight you want, but that won't make you happy in the long run. You have to change those negative thoughts to positive ones - no more saying you can't do something or you're not good enough! Find a workout you love and figure out how to make meals you love, a little bit healthier! Find a way that works for you! 

No recipe today, instead [CHALLENGE] I want you to use those leftovers and try to create healthy dish! Turkey is a great addition to a healthy  BLT sandwich! Try toasting ezekiel or multigrain bread, spread avocado on to the toast, and then add turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, AND some turkey leftovers!
