On the Fourth Day of Fitmas: Push Through

Day 4 of the 12 days of Fitmas and we're cruising right along; before we know it, Christmas will be here! Hump days are always kind of tough for me, because it's my Sunday - I work Thursday-Monday. So I've been busy Christmas shopping and trying to get everything together because I won't have much time to in the next few days. For all of you, you're at the halfway point of your work week, and you might need an extra push to get over the hump. I know you can see the light, so stay positive that the weekend will arrive shortly. 

To help push you through, complete the workout of the day, and read on for some positive thoughts. 

On the fourth day of FITMAS, my PERSONAL TRAINER gave to meeeeeeee....  

4 knee tucks

3 star crunches

2 minute wall sit

and a 1 minute plank by the treeeeeee. 

When you think you can't push through, you should push that much harder. Start your mornings in a way that makes you excited to wake up, whether that's with a big breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast, a soothing shower, a warm cup of coffee while reading a book, or just a few extra minutes to put your makeup on, or shave. Whatever you need to do to start your day, do it. Then write down, or say to yourself, "I'm in a great mood, and I'm going to have a great day!" Repeat that when any conflict, tension, or stress, arrives when you're on your way to work, or during the work day. IT can be hard, but a few deep breaths, along with that quote, goes a long way. At night, do something for yourself again, whether it's having a warm cup of tea, getting your workout in, or watching your favorite show on Netflix. 

Before you know it, the day is gone and you're moving right along to Thursday! Keep pushing guys, you're almost there!
