Merry FITMAS! I hope that all of you got everything you wanted and more underneath the Christmas tree this year - maybe you even broke a sweat finishing the 12 days of Fitmas workout, which I hope most of you did, but if not - today is the final day! Try the 12th and final workout, and try to finish it for time! Your gym is most likely closed, so challenge your loved ones to get it done with you, and then enjoy the rest of the day eating delicious foods, and drinking fun, and festive drinks - all while spending the day with family and friends, creating memories that will last a life time. Because that's really what it's about right? (After you get your workout in, of course!)
On the twelfth day of FITMAS, my personal trainer gave to meeeeeeeee....
12 TUCK JUMPS,
11 squat thrusts,
10 jump squats,
9 lunge jumps,
8 oblique plank crunches,
7 high/low planks,
6 plank jack push ups,
4 knee tucks,
3 star crunches,
2 minute wall sit,
and a 1 minute plank near the treeeeeee.
I started my morning with a mimosa in my hand while opening up the gifts that Santa left for me, with my family. Workout clothes and a NINJA were just a few of the top gifts I received this year, and I cannot wait to use them! Like every year, after we finished opening all of our gifts, we enjoy a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh bread from Calandra's. I'm not 100% sure bacon is good for you, but it tastes too good to resist. Everything's okay in moderation. Though I'm sure you don't feel so great after indulging just a little too much over the past few days, but the holidays will do that to you.
Get ready because there's going to be a few announcements in the next few days for the upcoming year that will sure to get you back on track!
