Don't focus on the negative or everything that you've done wrong in the past, instead, focus on the positive and everything you've done right.
Of course, I know how hard that can be, because we, as human beings, like to fixate on everything that we've done wrong, and we make it 10x worse in our head, when really if we sit back and realize that sometimes things go wrong, and it's okay, we'll be better off. To sit there and sulk about eating too many slices of pizza, or hanging out with your friends and skipping the gym, will only lead to more days of sitting and sulking, and the regret will pile up. Instead of letting the days slip away, start fresh tomorrow. Do not wait until Monday, because guess what, you'll wind up saying that again the following week. No... take a deep breath, get a good nights rest, and wake up the next day determined and focused with your goals in mind.
I know you don't want to look back on your life and regret not getting in shape, not loving your body, not feeling your best, and so I'm here to make sure you grab hold of your life... you grab hold and you hold on with all of your might.
Working out shouldn't be stressful, neither should eating healthy.
It's not something that costs a ton of money either, like I'm sure you are thinking right now. Just as I'm sure you're sitting there reading this and thinking of a million excuses as to why you're not working out, eating right, and getting in the best shape of your life. STOP. I'm here to help you realize that you may be busy, you may not have a lot of money to spend on a gym membership and organic fruits and vegetables, and you may be tired, but there is always a way to squeeze in exercise and eat healthier.
The first thing you need to do is FOCUS. How do you do that? Well, it's really quite simple. Write down your goals - every last one, on paper. Screw the computer, and get a notebook and pen out and write them down, whatever comes to mind. Hold nothing back. This is your life, not your neighbors, not your best friends, not your parents... YOURS. Isn't is about time, you make it your own? Write down every last one, even if they scare you, even if you think you can't accomplish them.
From there, we just have to worry about taking small steps to accomplish these goals, whether the goal is to lose a certain amount of weight or strengthening and toning, we obviously know we have to put in some time working out, same goes with eating better. They all tie together nicely, but the way we reach our goals may all differ. Everyone is different, but everyone CAN and WILL find a way to accomplish these goals.
