Happy Thanksgiving y'all! Another year has come and gone. Just think, last year we were completing HIITSGIVING, and now we are ready to burn the turkey... not literally, of course. I hope your Thanksgiving meal comes out perfect!

Whether you're going to a friends house, or celebrating with family at home, remember what this holiday is all about. Over the past week, on my Instagram, I've been participating in a Week of Thanks. My friend came up with this great idea to post every day about something we are thankful for, and that's exactly what I did. Each day I chose something I was thankful for, whether it was the roof over my head, my health, or my friends and family, I made sure I sent out my thanks. We often forget to be grateful, living in the world of "more, more, more," and "I want or I need that!" always thinking we must have more. I'm here to tell you, we don't ... you don't need to waste your Thanksgiving night going shopping for MORE, you don't need to eat all the food in one sitting... today is about being grateful, and enjoying the food and those around you. Sure, go back for a second plate, but relax and soak up every moment with your family. Unless you have a relative that's going to eat every last slice of pie, don't rush this. Eat and enjoy it, and then if you're still hungry, go back and fill your plate a second time, or grab another slice of pumpkin cheesecake.

Start your morning with a workout, whether it's a 10 minute workout, or you're running a Turkey Trot. Complete your workout, not because you're trying to earn your thanksgiving dinner, because let's be honest, you'd have to do about a five hour workout with about a million burpees in order to burn off all the calories you're about to consume. Instead, workout to start your morning off on the right foot, and to show how grateful you are to be able to workout, move your body in ways people can't, and to get stronger with each rep.

I've created a quick workout for you to complete before the cooking and baking commences. If you weren't able to get into that local run or gym challenge, this is for you! All you need is a pair of dumbbells, and something to step up on. Try to complete the workout 3x, but know that 1x or 2x is just as good!

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving, and remember why you're thankful.
