Recipe: Strawberry Banana Pineapple Smoothie

I don't know where it came from, but these past two weeks I've gotten such a strong craving for Strawberry Banana Pineapple smoothies. I kept on thinking about the expensive ones at a local cafe, and seeing as how I'm trying to save money, I thought it would be better to make my own! And I think I perfected the perfect smoothie, that beats the one I would've bought! I used frozen fruit, but you could always use fresh + ice. Frozen fruit is just easier to store, lasts longer, and I can get any fruit, all year long!

This smoothie is perfect for breakfast, a mid-morning snack, or even after a workout if you add a scoop of vanilla protein powder (which I'm doing as I type this)! It'll give you plenty of servings of fruit, plus some calcium, and protein! Not only is this a good smoothie for you, but children will love it too! The recipe below is for one serving, but can easily be doubled, or even tripled!

These smoothies have me craving the warmer weather, because who wants to drink a frozen drink in the cold? Not me! Maybe if we all make enough smoothies, the warmer weather will just HAVE to come! It won't be long now though, until we're beachin' it, so NOW is the perfect time to start focusing on your eating - think, more lean, clean and green, and plenty of fruits, if you want to look good AND feel good in that bathing suit!
