Sometimes recipes come to me randomly, when I'm thinking about all of the food I have in my refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets. I used to go out and buy all of the ingredients when I wanted to make something, but lately I've been trying to see what I can come up with using the items I already have. Not only do I save money that way, but it allows me to experiment! I want to be able to provide all of you with easy to follow recipes, and ones that don't require a ton of ingredients, and if they do happen to have a large of amount of ingredients, most of them should be a staple in your pantry anyways!
I'm a sucker for a quick breakfast, whether it's throwing eggs in the pan, heating up a bowl of oatmeal, or spreading some natural PB on multi-grain and topping it with banana slices. Why? Because I usually wake up late, and I'm in a rush to get to work! Plus, I'm STARVING when I wake up, especially after a fasted workout. When I was younger, I was always woken up and given breakfast before school! It would help me focus until lunch time. I know that it's super important to have, but not always super easy! So I've come up with an overnight oats recipe that will keep you full and satisfied until your mid morning snack, or even lunch! It not only provides you with a serving of fruit, but oats as well!
Now tell me, do you skip breakfast, or do you HAVE to have it every morning? WHY?
What's your favorite overnight oats recipe, if you've tried them before?
