Keep Your Gym As Clean As Your Food

I think a majority of our gym members got sick this past winter, and it's not shocking because when it's cold out, the heat is on, and then you have a bunch of people in one room dripping so much sweat it looks like they've taken a shower, the gym then gets humid, and even though we clean where we workout, some don't clean well enough. Those same people that are coming into the gym sweating like crazy, may be bringing in some pretty nasty germs, whether they're sick themselves, or they've been around people that are sick.

So aside from the usual eat healthy, drink tons of water to stay hydrated, and exercise, another way to stay healthy is to make sure we're washing our hands, as well as our gym equipment, and where we work out, whether it's at a gym, or at home. In order to keep my home gym clean, after using any of the equipment, and even the mat, I have been using Thieves wipes. They are made with pure essential oils, non-drying, non-greasy, and not filled with toxic crap that is harmful for our bodies, especially our skin - the biggest organ we have that literally soaks everything up. They also smell incredible - think cinnamon, clove, lemon, eucalyptus, and rosemary. I'm basically obsessed with them. Check out this Thieves Cleaner Science Fair Experiment and then come and tell me essential oils don't work. They're CLEAN and they CLEAN.

When I am at the gym, I use my purifying stinky spray to clean my gloves and shoes, but I also use Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier to clean my hands after picking up weights, touching the mat, or being in my gloves for a few hours. It's enhanced with peppermint oil to cleanse and purify the hands, without harming them like most hand sanitizers do. It smells great, and is quickly absorbed, leaving your hands feeling great and clean.

I'm not taking any chances when it comes to getting sick, especially not because my gym equipment or gym isn't cleaned the right way.
